H2O Test

I am preparing for the ph test on the Grand River water in Michigan. I have to do the ph test because i chose the new bus choices for our test. The carbon dioxide in the air and water come from vehicles burning gasoline and polluting our air and water. The ph of the water is how acidic the local river is. If the water is less than 5 then it is very acidic. If the water is 5 or above then it is a base. Hopefully our river looks good and the fish are not dieing!

Eaton Rapids Water Plant

We went and learned about the water system of Eaton Rapids Michigan. There are 38 miles of water lines throughout the city of Eaton Rapids. They put flouride into the city water for growing children. They also put phosphate into the water. Chorine is also put into the water for decantamination. They have 2 wells that pump water out of the ground. The water towers hold over one million gallons of water together. They test the water in our schools once a month for our saftey.
